A. Thank you for your enquiry. There are different ways of correcting the nasal septum, and some of them will be associated with improvement in the shape of the nose. This would be typically the case of a septo- rhinoplasty intervention, where the relationship between the septum which typically has some deviation and the cartilages in the tip of the nose is restructured. An operation on the nasal septum which involves just removal of some of the cartilage that blocks the air away will not typically have any impact on the external appearance of the nose.
